It is with delight that we resume prayer with our beloved kids during the morning assembly after the Easter holiday, and reflecting with them the real meaning of Jesus Christ suffering at cross for us.  Knowing that during the long holiday many parents had brought their children outside the territory for vacation, redeeming the travel restrictions due to lock down for the past three years.

With the wide application of internet and much established infrastructures in many places around the globe, there have been revolutionary changes in our travelling mode.  We can now design our own itineraries, book our flights and accommodations tailored with the tastes of our companies.  As compared with the ‘80s of the last century, we usually join group tour with travel agent with people that you never known before.  As can be imagine, it would be uneasy during the first couple of days particularly when come to the seat arrangement in the coach and dining at the same table.  When the tour approached to the end, however, be it a group photograph in front of a landmark or bid farewell after returning to Hong Kong, there found a bit unexplained feeling of parting.

In just two weeks’ time on 2nd of May 2023, a day we are long looking forward to, Ms Cheong Un I is to assume her role as our Principal.  Under God’s grace and in faith, Principal Cheong will lead us with some initiatives leveraged from her past valuable experiences to run the uphill trail ahead.

2nd of May would be regarded as my second retirement.  When compares with my first retirement after serving in the same organisation for more than 39 years, this half year tour lends me with much stronger unexplained feeling.  Coz I am not only leaving a dedicated team who has been building hand in hand with me the “loving and caring campus”,  it is also the kids who greeting on street and even rush back just to say good morning to me.  To this end, I am also leaving parents who have been rendering unfailing supports to us, and gaining good relationship. 

Thanks my Lord for arranging this short yet wonderful tour with unparalleled profound memories.
